Terms and Conditions for the Use of our website and the Online Ordering of Products from Bestgrowlights.com


Herein are contained the Terms and Conditions under which a Customer (you) may order products from Bestgrowlights.com (BGL). Without accepting these terms and conditions NO ordering of products will be allowed. Please check the box labeled I Accept signifying that you understand these terms and conditions before attempting to order products from this website.


Returns

All sales are final. Please read product descriptions and give us a call if you need any additional information, pictures, etc. We sometimes accept non-defective returns (ex, items you have already received but you just don't want) for polite customers (at our discretion). Give us a call or send an email to arrange returns. Non-defective returns will be subject to the fees and conditions in unopened items below.


UNOPENED ITEMS

If the item is unopened and not damaged, you will receive a full refund, minus any shipping and handling fees, and minus a 25% restocking fee. In most cases, refunds will be given via the same method that they were originally paid for. Reasons for deducting these amounts from the refund amount are these,

1. BGL has expended energy and money processing, packing, and shipping your order.
2. Our suppliers have expended energy and money during the ordering and shipping process and pass these charges on to BGL, WHETHER THE ITEMS ARE RETURNED OR NOT.

3. Most items ordered through our website are paid for via credit card or PayPal. These entities charge us (BGL) 3% of the total charge / refund amount each time the transaction is processed. For example, if a customer orders items totaling $1000 the credit card company (and associated banks) charges BGL $30 to process the original charge. When a refund of $1000 is processed the credit card company again charges BGL $30 to process THAT transaction. Our profit margin is low to begin with and if we allow too many of these types of transactions to continue we would soon be out of business.



NON-DEFECTIVE ITEMS THAT HAVE BEEN OPENED AND/OR USED are not returnable for any reason. Refunds will not be given for these items.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS

Defective items are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. If the item(s) is still covered under the manufacture's warranty Best Grow Lights will help in the claim process. In most cases shipping and handling fees are the manufacturer's responsibility, that is, return shipping, fixing the problem and shipping the item(s) back to you are free of charge. Give Best Grow Lights a call so we can help expedite the process.


If an item is returned to Best Grow Lights as defective, and it is determined that there is nothing wrong with the product, then you will be responsible for any shipping and handling fees incurred. This will also be the case if the product warranty is voided.


Items must be placed in their original packaging and include all the original packing materials, printed materials, blank warranty cards, manuals, and any other item or accessory provided by the manufacturer.



IMPORTANT: Items that arrive broken and cannot be inspected for defects will not be eligible for replacement. If returning an order, please make sure it is securely packaged. Best Grow Lights does not assume responsibility for any breakages. But we will help resolve the matter with the shipper. JUST GIVE US A CALL.

BROKEN BULBS/GLASS
Best Grow Lights will accept returns on bulbs or other glass products in which the glass has been cracked or otherwise broken. If you feel the glass was damaged during transit, please refer to "Items That Arrive Damaged" below. Contact us right away if anything is delivered broken or damaged.

ITEMS THAT ARRIVE DAMAGED
Damages that may occur during shipping are the responsibility of the shipping company, but Best Grow Lights will assist in expediting the matter. In most cases, we will send a replacement out right away. It is sometimes necessary to have the shipping company or BGL inspect the damage. Give us a call. Please do not hesitate to report damaged items, as some shipping companies have strict time requirements that limit their liability.

RETURN PROCEDURE
Before sending back any returns, you must first call Best Grow Lights at 877-670-4769 or email sales@bestgrowlights.com to receive an R.A.# (Return Authorization Number). Please write this number in big letters on the outside of the shipping box to avoid having it sent back to you unopened. Best Grow Lights or its representatives will send you a prepaid Fed Ex label to affix to the return box. The R.A.# issued to you will be good for up to 10 days after customer receipt of the shipping label and RA#.
USUAL SHIPPING TIME
Because we (BGL) and our suppliers carry a large inventory most of the items on our site will be packed and shipped within 1 to 3 days of order. Allowing another 2-3 days in transit, most orders will be received within 3-5 business days. Some items though, will be out of stock and will be back ordered. These items will be shipped as soon as possible and may take up to 10 business days for shipment to occur. Should any item take more than 10 business days to ship, the customer may cancel the order after the 10th business day (from ordering the item) with a FULL REFUND. No extra charges will be incurred by the customer.
Exceptions to USUAL SHIPPING TIME: Some items are custom made for some orders. Examples are the turnkey complete grow box / hydroponics systems, for example the Cool Cab complete grow box. These items carry a lead time of up to 2 weeks before shipment. Once work on these systems has begun NO cancellation of the order is acceptable unless the time to ship exceeds 2 weeks (10 business days). Should any of these items take more than 10 business days to ship, the customer may cancel the order after the 10th business day (from ordering the item) with a FULL REFUND. No extra charges will be incurred by the customer.
RECEIVING AND ACCEPTING A DELIVERY
All orders over $100 are shipped out with signature required. We do this to assure that only the customer receives their order. In the past, we have had shippers leave packages on customers front porch, that later came up missing. If you require an order to ship with no signature required add no signature required in the comments box at checkout. BGL will do everything possible to assure accurate and convenient delivery of your order. BUT it is the customer's responsibility to be available to accept a delivery. BGL will work with the customer and shipper to assure that delivery is made at a time convenient to the customer but under NO circumstances is BGL responsible for delivery or non-delivery of an item. The shipping company and the customer are solely responsible for this.  When the shipping company attempts delivery and the customer is unavailable for delivery or the customer refuses to accept delivery (within all of the pertinent parameters described above) then the customer is responsible for all charges incurred to this point. Charge backs and refunds are not valid under these conditions. For example, if a custom made or back ordered item is shipped on the 7th business day after order and the customer judges this to be unacceptable and too long a time, he / she will have no valid reason for not accepting the delivery and then forcing a chargeback or demanding a refund. By accepting these Terms and Conditions the customer agrees that BGL has 10 business days in which to ship the ordered items.
Charge-Backs (Credit Card Disputes)
Please be advised that the charge on your card statement will show from Best Grow Lights or Zephyr Supply & Services Corp. (our parent company). A customer may sometimes make a charge-back because they do not recognize the name on their statement. In the case of any charge-back we are charged a $25 fee. If a charge-back is mistakenly made, or if BGL wins the charge-back, any charge-back fees will be passed on to the customer (you). Please contact us with any concerns or disputes BEFORE doing a charge-back.
