HORTILUX™ HPS CONVERSION Ultra Ace™ conversion lamps are HPS lamps that operate on Metal Halide systems. Transforms a one-dimensional Metal Halide lighting system into a complete growing system. Provides optimum Red spectral energy required for flowering. These lamps are environmentally friendly and pass EPA, TCLP test criteria as non-hazardous waste. This 940 watt Bulb should be used with a 1000 watt Metal Halide (MH) Ballast.
High Pressure Sodium Lamps are red/orange in the spectrum. They are the best lamps available for secondary or supplementary lighting (used in conjunction with natural sunlight or metal halide lighting). This type of light promotes flowering, budding, and fruiting in plants. It is ideal for Greenhouses / Commercial growing applications.
