BGLs EconGro ballast is our economy priced ballast but it shows impressive attention to detail. We also offer a switchable ballast in 400 & 1000 watts. This means that with the mere flick of a switch you can run a Metal Halide (optimum for foliage growth) or a High Pressure Sodium (optimum for budding and flowering) bulb, thus getting the benefits of both types of light.
BGL stands behind this product, offering a 5 year rebuild or replacement warranty. You can expect many years of use from this system. We've never had a return for service but any necessary repairs will be done at a major factory in the United States. The fixture boasts many quality features, including:
- Die Cast aluminum ballast housing
- Louvers for cooling
- Rubber feet for noise reduction
- 8 foot grounded power cord
- White powder coated finish
- High temperature domestic capacitor
- All systems are wired for 120 volt, unless 240 volt option is specified below
