Delivery Signature: All orders over $100 are shipped out signature required. We do this to assure that only the customer receives their order. In the past, we have had shippers leave packages on customer’s front porch, that later came up missing. If you require an order to ship ‘no signature required’ add ‘no signature required’ in the comments box at checkout. If ‘no signature required’ is entered BGL will not be responsible for missing packages. Safe and Discrete Packaging: All products are shipped in plain brown over wrap boxes or paper. Pallets shipped via freight are wrapped in black plastic. Only the shipping label appears on the package with the mailing address and the return address of the shipper showing. All items are carefully packaged; if damage does occur during shipment an immediate replacement will be sent. See ‘Damaged Shipments’ below. Usual Shipping Time: Because we (BGL) and our suppliers carry a large inventory most of the items on our site will be packed and shipped within 1 to 3 days of order. Allowing another 2-3 days in transit, most orders will be received within 3-5 business days. Some items though, will be out of stock and will be back ordered. These items will be shipped as soon as possible and may take longer for shipment to occur. If items are out of stock we will contact you with the option to cancel backordered item, hold the entire order until everything is ready for shipment, or split the order into two shipments. Next Day Air and other rushed shipping options refer to the time the order leaves our shipping facility. We try to process all orders the same day, but keep in mind that it takes time to process, package, label, and prepare an order for shipment. Because of this and other circumstances such as holidays or weekends, an order going UPS 2 Day (as an example) may take up to 5 business days to reach the customer.
Multiple Items: If you have ordered more than one product, there is a good chance that you will receive more than one box. These boxes may not always arrive on the same day. Feel free to contact us with any concerns about your order. Free Shipping Items: All products marked as free shipping items are free only to the continental United States. Orders going to Alaska and Hawaii with free shipping items, will receive a shipping discount. Give us a call or email us for a shipping price. We regularly ship via UPS. Large orders commonly ship via freight on a pallet. Because no one is available to sign for the packages, UPS will not ship to P.O. Boxes. Please enter a non P.O. Box shipping address when placing your order. If you have a preference as to shipping method, please let us know at the time you place your order and we will do our best to accommodate. Different Billing and Shipping Address: To protect ourselves and our customers, it is our policy to verify all orders with different shipping and billing addresses prior to shipping. Customers who place an order with a different billing and shipping address that cannot be verified, will be required to fill out and return a credit card authorization form prior to shipping. Please include a copy of the front and back of your Credit Card and Photo ID. If it is required, a copy of the authorization form and instructions will be emailed to you once your order is submitted. You may fax required information to 229-649-3356, email sales@bestgrowlights.com, or send it regular mail. Handling Charges: We pay $5.00 per package (box, envelope, etc.) in handling charges to our shipper. This is over and above the shipping cost you are charged. In most cases this charge is included in the price of the product and we do not charge extra for it. But because we offer a full range of small items and we have no minimum order any order under $20.00 will incur an extra $5.00 handling fee. For example, 10 barbed connectors at $.18 apiece will total only $1.80 and when we add the $5.00 handling charge that we pay we lose money on this order. Unacceptable and impractical! If we lose money on too many of these orders we'd go out of business and wouldn't be able to offer our great deals. Hence the handling fee for small orders. No handling fee will be charged for any order totaling more than $20.00. Damaged Shipments: Damaged shipments should be called to our attention and a new replacement will be sent immediately. Carriers will not accept damage claims made after the delivery is completed so check your packages carefully upon opening (and before signing!) to assure no damage has occurred. Returns: See our return policy. Ask us for a deal!
